We will have a clean-up day on Saturday, March 10th at 10:00. We need to paint the boat ramp gate, rails on floating dock, spruce up the flower beds, pressure wash, and replace some boards on the dock. There will also be a Board Meeting at 12:00 pm. Come out and help us spruce up our community.
Several homeowners worked Saturday morning at the boat ramp. All limbs and trash were raked and debris was piled behind the picnic area until the last Saturday in the month. At that time it will be burned or taken to landfill. Old sign was hung back up until new ones are ordered and Roger Hegler was repairing the gate at the boat ramp. Landscape timbers need to be replaced around flagpole at boat ramp and some raking done around shelter area. I will let homeowners know when this is done.
Good Evening Everyone,
Hope all is well. Just wanted to let everyone know that there was minimal damage in Hurricane Haven. A few had underpinning blown away from mobile home, a few had screen torn from porches, lots of tree branches down (most are smaller ones), overall everyone’s place looked ok. There is some work that needs to be done at the boat ramp. Debris needs to be cleaned up and taken to landfill, old entrance sign hung back up until new ones are bought, landscape timbers need to be replaced and more mulch place around flagpole. There may be several other things that need to be done as well. If your available Saturday morning, we will meet at the boat ramp at 8:30. Thanks in advance for your help.
Just a reminder, please hang your Hurricane Haven placard from your rear view mirror when parking at the boat ramp. If you have paid your dues and have not received a placard, please let Dean or Timberly Everette know.
The pool is now closed for the season.
We will be using the board located at the pool entrance to post information and events taking place in our community. Feel free to contact a board member or your block representative if you would like to post some information as well.
The picnic area can be reserved by HOA members. The HOA also has a gas BBQ grill available for use. Please contact a board member or your block representative.
